Pattern and instructions to make Vogue's Basic Design 1398; ©1984; Misses' Shirt: Very loose-fitting shirt has collar variations, dropped shoulders, shoulder pads, back pleated into yoke with forward shoulder seams, concealed button closing and short sleeves rolled-up (wrong side shows) or long sleeves pleated into button cuffs. Sleeves have pleated cap. A and B: pockets with flaps. C, D and E: front tucks. Purchased ties and belt.

The pattern is complete and has been cut out. Some pieces are creased, there is a one inch tear on the edge of the right fly piece. The envelope has some signs of wear. It is creased and there are some tiny tears, a retailer's stamp and spotty discolouration. This is a second-hand item.
