Vintage 1934 magazine with included sewing pattern for an attractive bed-jacket for cold mornings.
52 pages (including cover) - printed on cheaper newsprint-type paper. Cover in colour, remainder in black and white.
Dimensions: approx. 8.5 inches x 10.5 inches approx. 22 cm x 27 cm approx.
A scarce and highly-collectible publication. An invaluable resource for the vintage enthusiast.
In good condition overall with a few flaws. Wear and tear to cover. Writing in pencil on cover. Several scuffs, scratches and creases. Cover has a grubby appearance (both front and back) with several small marks/stains and foxing spots, nicks to top and bottom of spine. Two inch tear at top of front. Loss along the bottom of front cover. Wear/rubbing to spine with several small nicks down spine edge, primarily around staples. The cover has come off. Dog ears to corners of some pages. Staples have started to rust (though they are still intact) and there is some light rust transference to surrounding paper. General age discolouration/tanning throughout, with heavier tanning to page edges. A few small foxing spots and handling creases. But otherwise good. Internal pages are otherwise good with no major flaws - no major stains or tears.
The pattern is unused, complete and factory folded. This is a second-hand item.
Your pattern will arrive packed in an archival quality comic book bag with an archival quality backing board.
