Showcases an array of 1930s home dressmaking patterns. Includes designs for dresses, coats, a cruise wardrobe etc.
The accompanying free sewing pattern is for the two dresses featured on the front cover. It is the pre-cut, unprinted type of pattern that was popular at this time. It will fit a 34 inch bust. There are also full instructions (with scaled-down pattern pieces) printed in the magazine (see photos).
In addition, there is a knitting patterns for a women's jumper.
A very scarce publication. An invaluable resource for the costume historian or collector of vintage sewing patterns.
Please note that this catalogue does not contain any actual sewing patterns (other than the accompanying free pattern). It was a showcase catalogue for patterns that had to be purchased via mail order or from a local stockist.
In average vintage condition. Some wear and tear. General age discolouration. Staples are missing. The cover has come off. Minimal creasing. There ares some small tears and losses on the cover, along with some dog-earing. the free pattern is in excellent, UNUSED factory folded condition.
