Australian home journal December 1 1936 with four sewing patterns, unused, factory folded, three frocks bust 36 inches, child’s frock age 4 years

Regular price $30.00 NZD

Bust 36 inches.

Australian home journal 1st December 1936. Contains four UNPRINTED unused, factory folded sewing patterns. The patterns are for the three women’s dresses and child’s dress on the front cover. The instructions are inside the magazine, along with some fantastic advertisements for mail order sewing patterns, some fantastic advertisements and some very dated personal advice. There are also a number of craft patterns as per the photos.

The patterns are UNPRINTED unused, complete and factory folded. The magazine has some signs of wear. The covers have a grubby appearance. The staples are missing, with rust staining around where they have been. There is some staining and foxing on the covers and internal pages. There are corner bumps and dog-ears on some pages. Some pages have losses. A small section of one page has been cut out. Sadly the included booklet “Father Christmas takes to fancy work!” Is missing.  The covers are in colour and the contents are in black and white. This is a second-hand item.

Your pattern will arrive packed in an archival quality comic book bag with an archival quality backing board.
