Pattern and instructions to make: Vogue American Designer 2186 Oscar de La Renta - misses coat and skirt. Very loose-fitting, flared, lined coat, mid-knee, has bias collar, shoulder pads, asymmetrical button closing and long, two-piece sleeves with mock vent and button trim. Close-fitting top has bias collar, shoulder pads, back zipper and long sleeves with stitched hems. Narrow hem. Straight skirt, above mid-knee, has waistband, shaped front hemline and side front button closing. Purchased belt.
The pattern is complete and the skirt and top patterns are uncut. The coat pattern has been partly cut out to the largest size, making all sizes useable. Some pieces have medium (about one inch) and small tears and adhesive tape/small amounts of extra paper stuck to them. The instructions are present. The envelope is creased, there is spotty discolouration, there are some large tears at the top and sides, there is adhesive tape on the envelope. The price reflects the condition of this rare item. This is a second hand item. Your pattern arrives in a clear archival envelope with cardboard backing.
