Vogue Paris Original 1447; ca. 1976; Christian Dior - Misses' Evening Dress and Cape. Dress, three inches below mid-knee or ankle length, with fitted bodice and back skirt slightly gathered at waistline, has shoulder straps, bodice bands and side zipper closing. Front skirt has stitched and released tucks, pockets in side seams and attached underskirt. Self belt. Rectangular pullover cape has neckline slash and self fabric band trim

The pattern is partially cut out and used, partially complete and factory folded. The dress pieces have been cut off at the short length, the extra pieces are present, there are tailor’s tack holes in one piece The envelope has some signs of wear. It is creased , worn and torn and has spotty discolouration and some adhesive tape on it. The Vogue Paris Original cloth label is present, a rare find. This is a second-hand item.
