Pattern and instructions to make: Simplicity 4851; ca. 1963; Misses' and Women's One-Piece Step-in Dress: "Simple to Make". Straight dress has a high rounded neckline and front button closing. V. 1 is collarless, and the short set-in sleeves roll up to form cuffs. There are two large patch pockets. Top-stitching is optional, and purchased or self fabric belt may be worn. V. 2 is sleeveless and the neckline is finished with a collar. The collar, armholes, front edges and self-fabric tie belt are top-stitched.
The pattern is complete and looks unused. The instructions are present. The envelope is creased and there is a tear at the top, some other small tears and some brown spots (foxing). This is a second hand item. Your pattern arrives in a clear archival envelope with cardboard backing.
