Simplicity 3258 is a vintage 1950's women's cap sleeve dress. Soft pleats release fullness in the kimono-sleeved bodice which has a deep V shaped neckline. A front-buttoned closing continues in to the skirt. In Style 1, the pointed upright collar is cut in one with the bodice. A large flap pocket is at one side of the skirt and a smaller one trims the bodice. Bias binding is used as trimming. Style 2 is collarless and small notches are effectively used at the neckline and sleeves. The skirt has two large flap pockets and a center front pleat.
There is spotty discolouration (foxing), creases and tears on the envelope. There is a tear on piece E, skirt front. Price refelcts condition. This is a second-hand item.
