Pattern and instructions to make: Vogue American Designer 1409; ca. mid 1980s; Carol Horn - Misses' Jacket and Skirt. Very loose-fitting, unlined, below hip jacket has dropped shoulder, mock bands, shaped hemline, low armholes, mock front vest (single layer) attached at shoulders and side seams and wrist length sleeves rolled-up (wrong side shows). Slightly flared skirt, lower calf (front) slightly below lower calf (back), has elastic waist, side pockets and shaped hemline. B: contrast.
The pattern is complete and the multisize pattern has been cut out to the Bust 30.5 inches size. Some pieces are creased, there is spotty discolouration and small nicks on some pieces. The envelope has signs of wear. It is creased and has some small tears, corner bumps and has some spotty discolouration, writing in pen and adhesive tape on the envelope. This is a second-hand item.
