Mid-calf or slightly above ankle length, high-waisted dress, with skirt gathered into fitted bodice, has peter pan collar and front-buttoned band closing. Full-length sleeves are gathered at cap and into buttoned cuffs. With or without contrast collar and cuffs. Views A and B pinafore; two inches above mid-calf length, with skirt hand-smocked into front and back yokes, has front and back square neckline, cutaway armholes, back-buttoned closing and self hemline ruffle. Self bias ruffle and binding to finish armhole or short bell-shaped sleeves gathered at cap. Topstitching. View C pinafore four and a a half inches above ankle length, with front and back hand-smocked to bodice stay, has round neckline with self bias binding, square armholes gathered into self bias binding at underarm, and back self tie closing. Purchased lace trim. Topstitching. Includes heat set transfers.
Vintage condition: pattern is complete, the dress pattern has been cut out and the pinafore pattern is uncut. The transfers are present. The instructions are present. Envelope shows wear and tattering (tiny tears, creasing, corner bumps, spotty discolouration). This is a second hand item.
