Pattern and instructions to make: Simplicity 8736; ©1970; Misses' and Women's Front Wrap Dress: The front wrap dress with "V" shaped neckline and front snap closing fastens on inside with tie ends. Version 1 with self fabric tie belt features contrasting double patch pockets. Versions 1 and 2 have collar. Versions 1, 2, and 3 have short, set-in sleeves. Version 2 features contrasting collar, patch pocket, and tie belt. Version 3 features woven braid trim. Versions 3, 4, and 5 are collarless. Sleeveless Versions 4 and 5 may be worn with self tie belt or purchased belt. Version 4 features looped braid trim. Version 5 has scalloped trim on tie belt.
Vintage condition: pattern is complete and has been cut out, there are some small tears on some of the pieces, there is a 1cm diameter hole in one of the pieces. The instructions are present. Envelope shows wear (creasing, corner bumps, spotty brown discolouration, wear). This is a second hand item.
