Vintage 1930s magazine with included sewing pattern for lady’s afternoon frock. Bust 32 inches and instructions for resizing to 36 inches.
42 pages (including cover) - printed on cheaper newsprint-type paper. Cover in colour, remainder in black and white.
Dimensions: approx. 8.5 inches x 10.5 inches approx. 22 cm x 27 cm approx.
A scarce and highly-collectible publication. An invaluable resource for the vintage enthusiast.
In good condition overall with a few flaws. Wear and tear to cover. Writing in pencil on cover. Several scuffs, scratches and creases. Cover has a grubby appearance (both front and back) with several small marks/stains and foxing spots. Wear/rubbing to spine with several small nicks down spine edge, some losses around staples. Dog ears to corners of some pages. Staples are rusty (though they are still intact) and there is some rust transference to surrounding paper. General age discolouration/tanning throughout, with heavier tanning to page edges. A few small foxing spots and handling creases. The centre pages are loose from the staples. But otherwise good. Internal pages are otherwise good with no major flaws - no major stains or tears.
There are some knitting patterns included, see photos.
The pattern is unused, complete and factory folded. This is a second-hand item.
Your pattern will arrive packed in an archival quality comic book bag with an archival quality backing board.
